MEETING HELD ON 20TH FEB 2022
The RWA NEW FRIENDS COLONY Meeting was held on Sunday at 1200 hours on 20th FEB 2022, RWANFC office Opp.D-896,Society Building, New Friends Colony.
Notice for meeting was issued well in advance initially, vide RWANFC Whatsapp group with request to safe social distancing and sanitisation.
Opening Brief:
The President opened the Meeting by briefing on the agenda as follows: (a) Welcome was addressed (b) Presentation of the work done (c) Presentation and approval of the garbage & security charges for the financial year 2022 (d) Discussion on traffic flow management IN & OUT ( Oneway flow of traffic ) rules of the ‘D’ Block New Friends Colony residents behind Mata Ka Mandir and passing of the same. (e) To consider and discuss any other issue with the permission of the Chair.
Welcome Addressed by President:
Mr. Vivek Dhupar, President welcomed the members to the meeting and thanked them for sparing their valuable time.
He highlighted the development activities undertaken by the RWANFC including welfare events such as Guards/Sanitary workers etc.
He also stressed that there is complete transparency in the functioning of the RWANFC.
Address by General Secretary :
Mr. Romil Jaggi , General Secretary appreciated the cooperation given by the residents in the welfare activities and thanked them for the same. He assured that the RWANFC will continue to work hard and ensure developments.
Addressed by Treasurer:
Mr. Arun Jaggi , Treasurer stressed that the funds are utilised very judiciously and transparently. He added that the exceptional work done by the RWANFC has been appreciated by many Agencies , Authorities including our Residents . He however, requested that all members should pay their Dues /charges regularly so that development activities could continue smoothly. He explain different area & issues of concern.
Activity Report:
Improvements in security and introduction of MyGate Application, illumination in common areas, Camera installation on different location, Installation of Boom Barriers etc. Constant interaction is being carried out with the agencies such as SDMC, Delhi Govt for progressing the development activities including pending Category issue of New Friends Colony . The same was perused and approved by the members. Changes and Updation were explained to the members.
These are as follows: (a) Increase in yearly garbage charges. (b) Increase in Security charges.
It has been observed that some members do not pay the yearly garbage and security charges regularly despite of frequent visits / reminders from the RWANFC staff. Hence, the Members have been requested to communicate and pay their dues. Who so ever has not paid charges / dues and are to be paid would request them to be on times to avoid default and penalty charges. Defaulting members can pay their charges and become active members.
